I leave for Yosemite in the morning and will be “back here” in about ten days. I might not be posting until then, but please return to my site because I hope to have good photos to share. And if I can, I’ll post a few while on my trip.
Many thanks to all of you who follow my blog.

Ring-necked Duck
The Heron and The Tortoise
Shot at Freestone Park, in Gilbert, AZ, this pair sat in the sun together for a long time. The Green Heron looked for fish while the tortoise stayed on the rock and warmed up on a cool day.
